July 4, 2017: Financially backward students from Northeast India can now avail scholarships under initiative by an NGO called Helping Hands under the CSR initiative.
Helping Hands NGO has introduced scholarships in collaboration with top Institutions and MNC/ Companies for empowering poor and orphaned youths from Northeast India who are struggling to fulfil their dream careers.
In a statement, they said, "Inspite of our best efforts, many Northeast poor youth are not getting such information on scholarships, as a result, many have sorrowfully informed us to advertise it again in all social media forums".
The nine Scholarships initiated are as under –
1. ALS IAS Coaching Scholarships.
2. Vajiram & Ravi IAS Coaching Scholarships.
3. Elite IAS Coaching Scholarships.
4. Scholarships for Talented ( Cinema and TV ) NE Youth (BKT)
5. Late Mrinal Gogoi Merit Scholarships.
6. Scholarships for Charted Accountant. (SARC Associates).
7. Scholarships for North East female Commerce Students.
8. Scholarships for Charter Accountant Scholarships.
9. Scholarships for North East poor orphans/ martyred females
