It is to bring to your notice that there are fresh media reports of the cancellation of 9000 NGO’s by MHA. We request you to not get panicked by this information as these are cumulative cancellations ever since the new FCRA 2010 was enacted and no fresh cancellation has taken place. These cancellations are due to most of them not filing their annual returns by the due dates and many of these organizations did not intimate the MHA about their change in addresses. Even upon contacting these organizations, the MHA never received any response from these organizations.
