Action for Social Advancement (ASA) a not for profit voluntary organisation established in 1996, has been working for the development of rural livelihoods through agriculture based interventions mainly Land & Water Resource Development, Agriculture productivity enhancement, Small holders’ Agribusiness Promotion and Community Institution Building. The organisation works intensively in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha covering about 1000 villages mainly in the tribal dominated areas. Position: Regional Manager- Western Madhya Pradesh
No. of Position: 02
Head Quarter: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Reporting to: Director & Managing Trustee

Remuneration Package: Up to Rs.8.5 Lakh (CTC) /Annum. Plus other benefits as per norms. Four wheeler with driver for field work (only for Indore).

Essential Qualification:


1. Post Graduation in Rural Management, Agriculture & allied streams, Agribusiness, MBA, Civil/Agri. Engineering, .

2. Min. 10 years experience in relevant field, out of which at least 4-5 years of grassroot working experience and 4-5 years in managerial position.

Job description:
The jurisdiction of a Region is about 300 villages divided into 3-4 Area offices and about 10 Team offices. The Regional Manager and his/her team is responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the programme of the region.

Specifically :


1. Be the principal point for identifying development issues, proposal development, and programme management, viz. implementation plan, management of expenditure, budget control, auditing and reporting as per internal protocol of the organisation

2. Supports the field teams to deliver and review organisation mandate, as per provisions of Plan & Budget (P&B)

1. Responsible and supports the field teams/offices for all administrative operations

2. Recruits, trains, mentor human resources in the region, including periodic (annual) performance review

3. Liaises with the stakeholders, government, private industries and philanthropic institutions

4. Identify, organize and prepare learning documents

5. Promotes and maintains cooperation, amongst regions to improve and influence long term organizational goals

6. Participates, through various organization forums

7. Linkage with market for farmer producer companies

Knowledge of MS Office is mandatory requirement.
