The Ministry of Environment & Forests invites research proposals for financial support for the financial year 2014-2015. The National Natural Resources Management System (NNRMS) Programme supports research projectsaimed at optimal utilization of remote sensing techniques along with conventional methods for addressing key environmental and ecological issues.
Eligibility Criteria
All Academic institutions, Universities, National Institutes, recognized R&D institutions, reputed non-governmental organizations and voluntary bodies as well as private organizations of India are eligible to submit the proposals.
Submission of proposals
§ The research proposals should be submitted by the Principal Investigator (PI) in the prescribed format given in the guidelines on the website.
§ The application should be forwarded along with Fifteen (15) hard copies of the proposal and a soft copy in CD form to the address given on the website.
§ The proposal completed in all respects should be sent by Speed Post in a confidential sealed envelope during the current Financial Year 2014-2015 on the address given on the website.
