Why social media?
A problem that faces many NGOs is the promotion of their events, actions or the ability to have a web presence that attracts volunteers, participants or sponsors/donors.
Social Media is a fusion of sociology and technology, transforming monologues (one way communication) into dialogues (two way communication) that democratizes information, transforming people by shifting the way people discover, read, collaborate and publish news and information.
