UNDP requests that all interested companies submit a proposal for
designing tools and creatives on Voter Education.
The design should: which include messages to improve voter awareness including the following:
• Inform voters on registration and voting procedures
• The rights and obligations of voters
• Ethical, inducement free voting-and provisions of bribing
1.The importance of mainstreaming marginalized groups such as women, people with disabilities, religious and ethnic minorities and others in electoral processes.
2.New initiatives taken by the ECI to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
3.The polling process and secrecy of the vote.
4.Encourage voters to check their name on the Voter List.
5.Remind voters of necessary documents required to vote.
6.Voting time dos and donts for voters.
7.Notify civil society networks and political entities about election complaints procedures.
Organizations selected will show their ability to develop creative designs on various media on the topics discussed. While recognizing the content are for voter education they should also use engaging, innovative and creative ideas and be able to reach across age groups.
The company carrying out this project will be expected to work in close collaboration with ECI and UNDP on the content, design and production of the education material.
