integrity passion, confidence, and wisdom. Becoming a leader is not seeking a
career in leadership but identifying and developing leadership behavior and
qualities in oneself.
Personality
development is key to understand how to develop your leadership skill. If
we do not build leadership skills, we don’t lead, but only follow. We need to
perceive ourselves and the reality accurately so that our communication and
with others is meaningful and productive. The proposed training is designed to
equip the participants to identify their inner potentials and enable them to rediscover
their leadership qualities.
Our life
is based on relationships. Relationships depend upon our ability to communicate
with others. Hence, effective communication and relationships are crucial for
team work and achieving the organizational goals on the part of social
activists and community members at grassroots. To function as an effective
team, the members need to acquire special skills and right attitude. A team can
achieve its objectives well, when team members apply interpersonal relationships
skills that can bring about understanding and faith in others. The planned
workshop is aimed at equipping the participants with interpersonal relationship
skills and ways and means to build a team that can deliver planed results.

Resource: The
resource person will be Dr.Magimai Pragasam, an International Trainer.
Dr.Pragasam has around 20 years of training experience in development sector
which makes him a seasoned trainer with deep insights and impact. His activity
oriented teaching and entertaining style makes him a favorite. His training
programs are an enjoyable blend of Intensity, Interaction and engagement and
relate to day to day problems and solutions.
Dr.
Pragasam completed his Communication Studies in UK and France besides his Studies
in Journalism and Film Production in Indian Universities. He is a Certified
‘Master Practitioner of NLP’ from NFNLP, Florida, USA. He holds a
Doctorate in Anthropology, Master’s degree in Sociology and Bachelor’s degree
in Visual Communication. He is an expertise as a global trainer in Team
building, Leadership, conflict Resolution, Stress Management etc.

Award of Certificate
The
participants will be awarded a certificate of participation on conclusion of
the course.
Program
Cost
The total
program cost is Rs.4500. But in order to encourage and support NGO’s we are
providing 50% scholarship. You are requested to pay only Rs.2250 towards
Registration and program fee. This amount should be sent by DD drawn in favour
of “Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center” and dispatch the same by
post / courier.
BV-PDTC
will reimburse maximum up to Rs.1000 towards travel expenses on submission of
their original travel tickets (second class fare only).
To
encourage the participation of NGOs in capacity building programs, Bala Vikasa
PDTC provides food and accommodation – (Non A/C rooms 3 sharing basis) within
the premises of PDTC, at its own cost.
