The Empowerment of Domestic Workers (Request for Proposals)
Civil society organizations and Academic
institutions are invited to submit proposal for the project on Empowerment of
Women Domestic Workers. This is supported by The UN Entity for Gender Equality
and Empowerment of Women (UN Women). The purpose of this program is to work
with leaders of domestic workers and provide support in the formation of
domestic workers’ associations in their destination country where legally
possible, and to strengthen the capacity with existing domestic workers’
associations.
Eligibility & Criteria:
Proposals can be submitted by a registered organization, or jointly by two or more registered organizations of any of the following categories-

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ICAAP11 Youth Working Team (YWT)
The International Congress on AIDS in Asia and
the Pacific (ICAAP11) will be held from 18 to 22 November, 2013 in Bangkok, is
one of the largest forum on HIV/AIDS in the region. With the theme
“Asia/Pacific Reaching Triple Zero: Investing in Innovation, the congress aims
to highlight active involvement and leadership of youth in the HIV/AIDS
response.
The Youth Working Team will be closely working with the Youth Coordinators of each Programme Committee of ICAAP11 to ensure that issues related to youth are being addressed and the meaningful youth participation is reflected in ICAAP11!! The deadline for applications is Sunday, 26 May 2013.
Criteria for selection:
Accessibility to online communication (Access to internet at least 4 times per week is required);
Commitment to a rights-based approach and youth perspective, including the diffusion of evidence-based information and services, the use of condoms as a prevention measure, the respect and practice of sexual and reproductive rights, the harm reduction policies and programs, HIV AIDS responses etc;
Communication skills and organizational capacity especially in the areas relevant to the tasks applying for ;
Availability of time (approx. 4 hours per week) on a voluntary basis;
Motivation, pro-activeness, flexibility and reliability;
Residing in Asia & Pacific region;
English Proficiency;
Experience in International, National Youth Conference is preferred.
Available to attend to the ICAAP#11
Age between 18 to 29 years.

Few seats available for CSR Training Workshop in Bhubaneswar

We are
pleased to inform you that Partners in Change (PiC) and KIIT School of Rural
Management (KSRM) are going to organize a two-day CSR Training Workshop
for NGOs in Bhubaneswar,
Odisha. The workshop aims at helping NGOs understand the new fundraising
landscape and CSR ecosystem in India.
The objective of this unique workshop is to enable NGOs build their
capacities for potential CSR partnerships and in turn, create an enabling
environment for strategic CSR and social innovation.
The
workshop will be organized on 22nd and 23rd May,
2013 at KIIT School of Rural Management,Bhubaneswar.
The course fee for the programme is INR 4,000
per participant and INR 3,500 per participant in case an organization
wishes to send two or more participants. The fee includes registration kit,
lunch and tea during the training programme. For out-station participants,
accommodation may be arranged on twin-sharing basis at the KSRM campus for Rs
1,000 per person, per night.
